The Veterans' Affairs Office exists as a source of help for approximately 22,000 veterans that reside in our County.
Mission: To provide high quality advice, assistance, counseling,
education, outreach and advocacy to eligible veterans and their families
for obtaining Federal, State and County veterans' benefits and services
in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and policies.
We are accredited with the U.S. Department of Veterans (DVA) and are
authorized to submit claims for benefits and represent claimants with
processing their claims to include appeals to the DVA Board of Veterans
Appeals (BVA). We work closely with the DVA to obtain benefits for our
veterans and their surviving spouses. Please feel free to view the
information on our web page and contact us for assistance.
