Elder Rights & Protection
Ombudsman:
Specially trained staff and volunteers investigate and attempt to resolve complaints by, or on behalf of, people receiving Long Term Care Services.

Overnight Shelter:
Provides emergency overnight shelter for older adults who have no where else to stay.

Protective Services:
Specially trained staff investigate reports of abuse, neglect, exploitation or abandonment of adults age 60 or older. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Guardianship:
Specially trained staff evaluate consumers regarding the appropriateness and degree of guardianship needed, secure and manage such guardianships as appropriate.
Emergency Preparedness & Response:
Information and assistance regarding preparing for, and responding to, events from extreme weather conditions to man-made disasters.
