What are vocational services?
Service consists of work experience and other developmental work training activities designed to promote movement into a higher level vocational program.
Activities
Activities include:
- Training designed to teach job related skills
- Personal and work adjustment training to develop appropriate worker traits and teach an understanding of the work environment
- Assessment of a beneficiary's vocational aptitude and potential
Who can receive vocational services?
Vocational services are available to any consumer currently registered in the County Mental Retardation System, depending on availability of funds.
