Land Partnerships Plan - 2012
What is Land Partnerships?
Land Partnerships is a countywide strategy designed to improve and enhance the quality of life in Cumberland County through: farmland preservation, natural resource protection and parks, trails and greenways. Review the 2006 Plan and Accomplishments.
In April 2012, the Planning Department embarked on an effort to update the Plan in order to develop new recommendations for the next 5 years. The planning process is expected to take approximately 8-10 months and will include a variety of opportunities for the public to provide input including a citizen survey and public meetings.
Citizen Survey
The Citizen Survey was developed to ascertain opinions and attitudes about farmland preservation, natural resource protection, parks, trails and greenways and creation of livable communities. The results of the survey will be utilized to develop the strategies and recommendations of the Land Partnerships plan. The survey was available May 23 - November 30, 2012.
