Welcome to Cumberland County Children and Youth Services our mission is to provide professional social services in order to:
- Protect the safety and welfare of children
- Preserve, support and strengthen the family
- Identify alternative care, a safe environment and a permanent home for those children unable to remain in their home
*If you are concerned about a child and want to make a referral, please call 240.6120 Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or call Cumberland County Communications at 243.4121 from the Carlisle area; 238.9676 from the West Shore; 532.8878 from the Shippensburg area when the office is closed.
We prefer that you do not make a referral by email. We can provide better service if we can speak with you directly.
