Licensed Nursing and Staff Physician Services

Physician services are available to residents 24 hours a day. Our three facility physicians routinely evaluate residents on the six nursing units. Residents may be evaluated by physicians of their choice who meet all state and federal regulations and facility policies.  Appointments can be scheduled with one of our in-house specialists:

  • Podiatrist
  • Dentist
  • Ophthalmologist
  • Psychologist
  • Optometrist
  • Wound care physician
  • Audiologist

Our trained staff, consisting of professional registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants, under the leadership of the director of nursing provide compassionate clinical care. Comprehensive care of each resident is designed to maintain wellness through a program based on assessment and care planning.

Restorative Nursing

The Restorative Nursing Program at Claremont is designed to help residents achieve independent self-care and mobility. Some of the programs available under our Restorative Nursing include:

  • Activities of daily living
  • Wheelchair and bed mobility
  • Splint and brace assistance
  • Range of motion
  • Feeding and restorative dining
  • Practicing of balance skills

Respite Care

Respite care is an available service at the same cost as the daily rate. This service allows loved ones to take a needed break from their daily caregiving roles. There are Medical Assistance waiver programs available for respite care from the Office of Aging, Veterans Affairs Office and Hospice.
