All of the above meetings will be held in accordance with Act 15 of 2020 through an authorized telecommunications device available to the public. The phone number for public participation in any of the above meetings via Webex conference call is 1.408.418.9388, access code 713 412 659. 

The members of the boards noted above if not attending in person shall be participating by 
an authorized telecommunication device.  

Public participation in any of the above meetings shall be by use of the telephone number and access code above, and not by personal attendance at the meeting. The public may also submit written comments or questions by United States Mail mailed to: Commissioners’ Office, Room 200, Cumberland County Courthouse, One Courthouse Square, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013 or by email at All written comments submitted should identify the meeting date and time to which the comments pertain and must be received no later than 2 hours prior to the meeting.

In March, the Cumberland County Board of Commissioners signed a Declaration of Disaster that stated that “All residents and all other persons should refrain from coming to the Cumberland County Courthouse and all county-owned buildings and facilities to address non-essential and non-emergency activities.”

Board of Commissioners Meetings

The Board of Commissioners meetings take place twice each month on a Monday at 2 p.m. During these meetings, the Commissioners take action on County business. See below for minutes and video recordings.

Board of Commissioners Workshops

The Board of Commissioners conduct a workshop meeting twice each month at 9 a.m. on a Thursday. During these meetings, the Board reviews items pending approval. 

Finance Meetings

Under Pennsylvania County Code, the Board of Commissioners is responsible for implementing the County's budget, as well as overseeing contracts and expenditures. The Commissioners receive financial updates and requests during these weekly meetings.
