Light of Hope

Spark the Flame of Hope for an abused and/or neglected child.

Join us for the Cumberland County CASA Volunteer Swearing-In Ceremony and 17th Annual l Light of Hope Celebration.

Wednesday, April 11th from 6-8pm in the Old Courthouse.

All are welcome to attend!

The Light of Hope Ceremony, an annual CASA event, is part of the swearing-in of new CASA Volunteers.  Volunteers are sworn in following an extensive training program to help equip them to advocate for the best interest of the children to whom they will be appointed.  The ceremony also includes a candle lighting that is meant to signify the hope having a caring adult in a child's life can bring.  This event is held annually as part of Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.

Congrats to Our 2018 Volunteers!

Natalie Crowley, Joan Duffield, Robin Gipe, Daphne McCoy, Virginia Reid, Marie Savakinas, Jacqueline Stone, Sylvia Tonic, and Tina Turner
