The 19th Annual Cumberland County Conservation District Golf Tournament was held Friday, September 24, 2021 at Rich Valley Golf in Mechanicsburg. The crisp early Fall day was perfect for a day on the golf course. 110 people registered for the outing, one of our largest turnouts. After the round was over, attendees enjoyed a great meal prepared by Nolo's. The team of Nic DiSanto, Tom Watsula, Nate Weiss and Jen Logan won the event with a score of 53! Congratulations to the team and all of the participants for supporting environmental education efforts and conservation scholarships in Cumberland County.
Also, a BIG thank you to all of our Hole Sponsors! (click on image for large size)
Each year the Conservation District organizes a golf tournament to raise money for environmental education activities in the County. The money is used for scholarships, the Envirothon and other educational efforts. Our goal each year is to raise enough money provide three $500 college scholarships for Cumberland County students. Since we started the annual golf tournament in 2003, we have raised over $45,000.
