COVID-19 Update

The Cumberland County Courthouse and all county government facilities are open open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted, with or without an appointment. Anyone visiting should check the webpage of the department in which you are conducting business prior to arriving to see if they require an appointment to visit. View Press Release

Several county offices are using No Wait Inside to make appointments online. If you would like to contact one of our offices by phone or email, please visit our business directory.

Masks are not required in Cumberland County Government Facilities except for the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas, Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the Cumberland County Prison.

All public meetings are available for participants through Zoom by computer, phone (call 1.301.715.8592, then enter meeting code 957 8433 6350), or in person. To attend in person, please contact the Commissioners' Office at 717.240.6150 to ensure room capacity.

County Exceptions:

Cumberland County Courts - Effective August 30, 2021, all people including employees and visitors must wear a mask regardless of vaccination status in all areas under the supervision of the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas. View Administrative Orders

Cumberland County Prison - Effective September 23, 2021, in person inmate visitation and activities are temporarily suspended due to positive COVID-19 cases. View Press Release

Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - Masks and face shields are required for visits. Outside visits are preferred or in designated areas. No room visits unless resident is not mobile.
