1. How do I find your job postings?

Please visit click on the 'Careers' link at the top of our site. It will take you to the most recent job openings within the County. The openings are categorized within the page. Click on the job that you are interested in for a detailed description.

2. Do I have to apply online?

We do prefer that all candidates apply online, and advise that you create a username and password for future logins.

3. Can I apply for a job that is not posted?

All positions available at the County will be posted. If you do not see a posting for a particular position and want to apply anyway, please fill out an application using the PDF file at the bottom of the 'Career' page. You will need to save it to your computer, fill out the interactive form, attach it, along with any other documents you wish to send, to an email to humanresources@ccpa.net. Your application will remain on file up to a year from the date you submit it.

4. How long does my application stay on file?

We will keep your application on file for a year from the date you submit it to us.

5. Who should I contact with questions concerning a position?

Please feel free to contact our HR Generalist at 717.240.5364 for questions regarding position openings and applications.

6. How long should I wait before checking the status of my application after applying for a position?

We typically advise applicants to wait at least a week from the date the application was submitted before contacting our office. This gives our office the necessary time to process the application.

7. Where can I find a summation of your benefits?

Please visit the link on HR's homepage titled "Overview of Benefits."

8. Do I need to fill out a new application for each job I apply for?

Yes, unless you create an account on our site with a username and password. The advantage in doing this, is that you can go into the positions you are interested in, click 'Apply Now' and it will automatically populate your application. If anything needs to be edited on your part, you may do so then.

9. Do you offer tuition assistance for employees?

Yes. We do offer a comprehensive Tuition Assistance plan for full-time County employees.
